“The joy of capturing moments”
Since 1987 there has been a joy and a passion to capture moments with all my clients. I have been so blessed to meet and know clients over the years that have become my friends.
I, Mary Trobaugh, opened my first studio in Bradford, Illinois in 2005. I was so blessed to buy the “doctors” house not only because of its beautiful architecture but because the doctors office would soon become my photography studio. Little did I know that at the time of buying the house in 2000.
In March of 2018, I opened my second studio in Wyoming, Illinois. With Wyoming and it’s growing downtown, that was the greatest plus for reaching an audience of new faces and business patrons. I have been made to feel so welcome by the residence of Wyoming and surrounding towns that come to visit our quaint downtown district.
My passion for photography was evident by others before I realized my gift for the eye of photography. I believe God gives us all a gift and I am so blessed this is mine.
There isn’t a session, a portrait, a moment with a client and standing behind the viewfinder I don’t realize my blessing. To realize that what I do will last a lifetime and beyond to future generations. I heard a very wise and gifted photographer say, “the most valuable a portrait is is not the day they receive it but 10 years later.” That is a very true statement to me. Seeing the excitement of the family when they receive their portrait and then years later when they are having another session and the members of the family have grown. Or in some cases have passed on. That is when it is cherished.
The joy is overwhelming and I hope as you view the portraits you will sense a touch of that excitement as well. Thank you for stopping by and visiting our site.
